REINFORCED
THERMOPLASTIC PIPE

Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipe (RTP) is an advanced composite piping system engineered for demanding oil & gas, water, mining, and industrial applications. Combining a thermoplastic liner with high-strength fibre reinforcement, RTP delivers exceptional pressure performance, corrosion resistance, and long service life — all while being lightweight and easy to install.

RTP is rapidly replacing traditional steel pipelines in applications where corrosion, installation cost, and maintenance risk are critical concerns.

Key Features

Product stability

Focused on R&D, design and manufacturing of high-pressure RTP, with extensive experience in over 15,000KM of RTP manufacturing and service, and strict standard requirements for production process, product quality and performance, ensuring the products to meet standards and clients’ requirements.

Market Leading wear resistance

POE has much better wear resistance than steel pipe, UHMWPE pipe, and HDPE pipe.

Market Leading wear resistance

POE has much better wear resistance than steel pipe, UHMWPE pipe, and HDPE pipe.

Good pressure resistance

The pipe is formed by cross wrapping of high-strength continuous fiber prepreg tape or steel cord prepreg tape, connected with the liner turnup crimping joint, so that the layers of the pipe are integrated as a whole after connection, with the overall pressure resistance up to 32MPa.

Good corrosion resistance

The pipe is made of various high-molecular polymer composites, which can be applicable to various corrosive conditions, thereby increasing the service life of the pipeline (by more than 10 years). And by using non-metallic sleeve joints for connection, it completely solves the corrosion problem of metallic joints.

Good hydraulic property

The inner wall equivalent roughness of this pipe, ε, is 0.0015–0.015mm, while that of steel pipe is generally 0.19mm (usually after 3 years, steel pipe’s hydraulic property deteriorates due to corrosion and scaling, and the equivalent roughness is calculated as 0.6mm). Therefore, the inner wall of this pipe is smooth and not easy to scale, with low transportation resistance and good energy-saving effect. The transportation capacity can be increased by 20–30% compared to traditional pipelines such as steel pipes, which can meet the need of high-concentration slurry transport.

Spoolable, fast construction

With good flexibility, this pipe can be spoolable with a diameter of DN225mm or less. The length of a single pipe is 150–2000 meters, so that the number of joints required is reduced by more than 95%, and that of elbows is reduced by 99%, therefore construction efficiency is greatly improved and costs saved by 50%; Fixed-length pipes can be supplied in lengths ranging from 6 to 22 meters, with 60% fewer joints required compared to traditional steel pipes. The designed joints enables quick installation and disassembly, making construction and installation very fast, with the efficiency improved by at least 50%.
